I am so lucky to be a wedding photographer close enough to cover some amazing East Midlands wedding venues. Having been a wedding photographer for a few years now, I am recommended by some top wedding venues in the East Midlands. Below are my top ten.
I always love returning to shoot at Mythe Barn wedding venue. This beautiful venue seamlessly blends old with modern and indoors with outside space to create a simply stunning venue. It also has the most fantastic light helping me to take fabulous shots of my couples and their guests.
Thorpe Garden is such a romantic wedding venue. This historic walled garden in Tamworth has a timber yurt and a pretty ceremony pavilion. They have the finest garden in The East Midlands! The yurt offers something completely different to anything else in the area. Can you think of a prettier backdrop for your wedding photographs?
One of the many things I love about Field and Forest is that it is a blank canvas. Couples have the freedom to choose to have their wedding done their way. So if a romantic outdoor ceremony with an unhindered view of Staffordshire countryside and woodland sounds appealing, then a Forest and Field wedding could be just what you’re looking for.
I simply love shooting The West Mill wedding photography. A truly unique wedding venue, this Grade 1 listed industrial style venue is amazing. Originally built as a cotton spinning mill the building has been sympathetically restored to give you a wedding venue with real character and personality. Another great feature of this venue is how each part of the day happens on a different floor. Take a look!
Hazel Gap Barn wedding venue is not your standard barn wedding venue. This red-brick barn is flanked by two watch towers with pretty courtyards. Providing a dramatic and atmospheric backdrop when photographing couples and their guests.
My favourite thing about The Ashes is its picturesque location. This fifty acre estate rests at the foothills of the Peak District National Park. Photo opportunities include a 17thcentury stone bridge, a lake, a flagstone platform overlooking the majestic pond, formal lawns, an intimate stone courtyard and a Grade II listed Manor House. With all this, shooting at The Ashes is an East Midlands wedding photographers dream booking!
There’s always a warm welcome when I return to shooting at Dodford Manor wedding venue. The team there really look after you, so book with them and you’ll be in safe hands. This award winning Grade II listed restored barn set in a beautiful country estate is a gorgeous setting for any wedding.
I love shooting outdoor weddings so naturally Dove Bank Farm is perfect for this. Home to a beautiful secluded meadow and set on the banks of the River Dove. A truly romantic and magical rural setting and the perfect place to create your dream outdoor wedding.
What I love about shooting Dodmoor House wedding photography is that as well as being an award winning wedding venue offering its couples an exceptional service, its location is wonderfully unique. The combination of the landscaped grounds, countryside views and the banks of the Grand Union Canal provide me with a wealth of unique photo opportunities.
This lovingly restored Victorian building makes a stunning and unique wedding venue tucked away within its own grounds with wonderful rural views. Giving exquisite indoor and outdoor settings that make the most wonderful backdrops when photographing couples and their guests.
These are just 10 of the amazing wedding venues that The East Midlands has to offer. There are so many more. So if you’re planning your wedding right now, I hope this has been helpful. And if you’re looking for an experienced East Midlands wedding photographer then get in touch. I’d love to hear about your wedding plans.
