I don’t know where I saw it but this amazing venue called The House Meadow popped up whilst searching the internet and I had to contact Claire to tell her how much I loved it. There just so happened to be an open day and I asked to go. This is where I met Lisa and her Mum.
There were a lot of amazing suppliers there, so I had gone on a walk to say hello to them. Whilst testing the cocktails in one supplier’s caravan (someone had to do it), the lovely Celebrant next to me came and told me that a Lady had come over wanting to talk to me but they would come back.
This was Lisa and her Mum. They did indeed come back to talk and we hit it off instantly! Church wedding, reception at The House Meadow, Pride and Prejudice theme, outdoor games, it just got better and better the longer we spoke.
All through the planning we kept in touch, the wedding felt like ages away but came around so quickly and thank goodness it did, as I was eager to capture this day!
I hope you like witnessing a little of what I was lucky enough to capture of Lisa and Louis’ day. One of my favourite sentences from the day was being told that Lisa’s Mum had said “I had better wash her front door, as Nicola likes to photograph them”!!
