I’ve been really excited to share this post with you as I know my couples love a bit of inspiration and this is packed with that!!
Two companies I always love working with are Passion for Flowers and Wedding of my Dreams. With Wedding of my Dreams styling it and a little bit of Passion for Flowers thrown in too, these wonderful displays were created. This shoot took place in the amazing Shustoke Barns in Warwickshire and it suited those surroundings perfectly.
Whatever you are looking for, Wedding of my Dreams have it covered here. From Children’s wedding tables, to drink stations, to how your reception tables could look. Please enjoy looking through for ideas and I’m sorry if it makes you spend lots of money!
I apologise in advance for this very image heavy post but you will soon see why I couldn’t narrow it down to any less than this. Vicky and Tom had so many wonderful details to capture and the supplier list was pretty epic.
Vicky and I hit it off from the very first time we met and kept in regular contact all through out their planning. With every email she sent, I got a little more excited. Warwick house is not only a beautiful venue but the staff are so helpful. Passion for flowers were decorating the reception and providing the bouquets. Chloe McCall was the expert behind the make up and Bridal Hair by Helena Sinclair worked her magic on the hair. Lastly, the fabulous Blooming Lovely Films was going to be filming the day!!!
Even though we had spoken so regularly, one thing was never spoken about. That Vicky and Tom were having an outdoor ceremony! The weather couldn’t have been more perfect and the guests started to take their seats outside. Vicky’s dress was on and nerves were now kicking in. I went to join Tom outside to wait for Vicky’s grand entrance. As the music started, the bridesmaids walked down the aisle first and then Vicky appeared! Tom turned around, saw Vicky, looked at his Best Man and said “She’ll do”! haha.
Thank you both for a day full of beautiful memories and laughter. …Read more
Nearly two years ago I received an email from Dave asking for my package prices and if we could meet. When I arrived at the meeting, Jenny was there and I think Dave was. I say think because Jenny and I wouldn’t shut up. Dave could only look on.
This was how it went for the whole planning stage of their wedding. Jenny and I would plan a get together, say we would talk about wedding plans, spend 5 minutes on that subject and move on to more important things. Food mainly.
To the horror of Dave, I would show Jenny shops that she could buy little bits and pieces from and we would then think of reasons to tell Dave about how these were very needed.
Then came the wedding day itself. I was now watching a very good friend have her make up done, get into her dream dress and then walk down the aisle to her soulmate.
Then came the first dance! I watched a couple so in love, hold each other to their favourite song and dance their first dance as Man and Wife and I cried. Thank goodness my camera was in front of my face and I couldn’t stop.
It was a truly amazing day and one I am very sad to see in my past but also one I’m very excited to see, be the start of something magical. …Read more
When an enquiry comes through for Mythe Barn Wedding Venue I get excited. I love this venue and the staff there are so friendly and helpful.
It didn’t stop at Mythe Barn though. Carli happens to mention that she’s wearing Jenny Packham and Jimmy Choo’s.
Surely someone special is going to be dressing this venue too? Hell yea! Passion for flowers were there to transform the reception room. The day couldn’t come around fast enough for me!
When I arrived the Girls were having their hair done and the nerves were starting to show. The champagne helped quite a bit and before we knew it, it was present time. As Carli opened the present Ben had left, she started laughing. “It’s a Gucci watch” she giggles. At first I didn’t understand what was funny until Carli says “I have bought Ben the exact same thing!!”
These two were meant to be.
There were tears (from Ben 😉 ) and a lot of laughter. Thank you Carli and Ben for allowing me to be a part of your day x
