I first met Emma and Tony at their house before the wedding because they wanted to meet up with a few people to make sure they got on. The conversation was flowing as normal, “would you like a drink”, “how do you work” and then we mentioned things we like.
I’m a huge ‘comic book’ film fan, and I mentioned this, stating X Men was my favourite. I thought I was pretty clued up on this stuff, until I met Emma. To say we couldn’t stop talking after this is an understatement, so much so, that Tony had somewhere to go and kicked me out because this meeting was going on far longer than he anticipated (OK, slight exaggeration)!
This friendship has continued all through the planning and I’m now happy to have Emma as a good friend. It helped her cats liked me apparently *crazy cat Lady alert.
To see all the plans coming together at Wethele Manor, after talking about them for so long, was amazing. Here is just a snippet of what they got up to and yes, Emma did have a lightsaber for a bouquet.
