Samantha and Jonathan are one of the amazing couples I was fortunate enough to meet at a Mythe Barn open day. When an email landed in my inbox from them, I was over the moon, plus I got to see them again over coffee to discuss their plans.

When Sam asked me about an engagement shoot and suggested Cannock Chase for the location, I got a liiiittle bit excited. Who wouldn’t when the Gruffalo trail is also there 😉

As I stepped out of the car, the heavens opened and it was a good excuse for us to grab a drink in the café there and talk over plans, whilst we waited for the rain to stop.

Cannock Chase did not disappoint and capturing Sam and Jonathan laughing together was a dream. I couldn’t believe how beautiful it was there, a dream setting perfect for capturing dream photographs.

I will definitely be heading back with the family!
