At this time of year, there have been some wonderful engagements and some very excited couples are going to be searching for their perfect venue.

I have been to some amazing venues so I’m going to be blogging about venues I would recommend and include some information about them. First up is Alcott Weddings.

The first time I visited Alcott Weddings was to have a cuppa with Lucy. Lucy runs Alcott Weddings and you can see how much this venue means to her within 5 minutes of being in her company.

I didn’t go armed with my camera this time so the photos included are off my trusted iPhone but it gives you an idea of what this beautiful place is like.

This is what you’d class as a blank canvas venue. If you are looking for a dry hire venue in the West Midlands, this is perfect. You are basically hiring the ground space and everything else separately. If you wanted a Tipi, Marquee, Circus tent wedding, this is the ideal place to hire. Not only can you hire the land but there is also a B&B on site so your close family wouldn’t have far to go after the party has finished. For the rest of the guests, how about Glamping?

Everything you see here, you have access to. As you can imagine, this is every Photographers dream. When you approach the venue you can’t help but be taken in by the surroundings. It is beautiful there.

There is also a lot of parking, which you will need and your guests certainly won’t struggle for a space with the amount of ground available.

If something like this scares you because nothing is included, don’t let that put you off. Lucy is so helpful and is armed with recommendations of suppliers who pull all this together for you. I am very lucky to be one of those recommended suppliers.

I am very fortunate to have worked with some amazing suppliers too, whether it be a Tipi company like Elite, Caterers like Rustic Roast Kitchen, so if there are any recommendations you need to plan a wedding at a venue like this, please get in touch and I can send you many links that will help.
