Sneak Peek of Kelly and Andy’s Engagement Shoot.

Today I met Kelly and Andy. Kelly has been so sweet on emails and Facebook that I couldn’t wait to meet her.

I was not disappointed. They were both so sweet and when Kelly suggested climbing on top of a hay bale in her dress I thought “hell yes, this is my kind of Girl”.

Here is a sneak peek from today. Roll on the wedding!!

A Scottish Humanist Wedding, A Tipi and A Lot Of Love.

When I met Kari and Rob, they described their wedding to me as a Humanist ceremony with a Tipi reception in Rob’s Parents back garden. Now, this was very true but there was a little bit more to it than that.

We pulled up onto the drive of this gorgeous property and the first thing we see is the Tipi. When we entered, we were hit with all these details that Kari and Rob had been planning over the last months. Even down to the salt and pepper shakers on the table, each table having something different. To look at it all you would have thought this had taken years to plan.

After having a cup of tea with Mum and Dad we got to it and before we knew it, we were walking up to the ceremony……

Style me pretty feature

I have always loved the wedding blog Style me pretty and when one of my Brides told me that she loved it too, I really wanted to get her gorgeous wedding featured on there (no pressure).

When the email came through to say they would like to feature it, I let Kari know and a squeal quickly followed.

If you would like to see the whole article it is here and I just want to thank everyone for their continued support. x

James and Nicola in London

I was approached by the lovely Bijou Bride who had been sent my way by my friend Louise of Whimsical Wonderland Weddings to see if I would be interested in running a competition that would involve me photographing a couple in London and Alex of The Bijou Bride organising it.

I love to get involved in things like this so emailed back a ‘hell yea’! The entries came in thick and fast and one couple stood out. James and Nicola were already married but on their day it absolutely poured down! Even though they were over the moon with the pictures from the ceremony etc they felt they didn’t get the chance to have their ‘Couple’ shoot.

When they found out they had won, Nicola commented that she had never won anything before and couldn’t wait. Alex got to work and before I knew it, I was on the train to London for the shoot.
