The great thing about me now being a full time Wedding Photographer is I have a little bit more time to blog about things that really matter and that my couples actually ask about. Photo albums are one of those things so I have taken some pictures of the range of albums I do at the moment.
The first one is an album from Folio albums and of course, I made sure I matched my colours as close as possible with the leather colour choice
. It is a gorgeous hand bound album with a luxury leather cover. The pages have an almost invisible crease down the middle so your images can go right across both pages. I’ll let the photos do the talking with this one.
I am obviously conscious that all my couples have different budgets for their big day, that is why I have two different types of albums at different prices. I have taken photos of this one too so you can see the difference. This is more of a coffee table style album and the crease is down the middle of the pages. I have tried to replicate the look of the Folio one as much as possible so you can see a fair comparison. With the coffee table album there is one great advantage, you don’t need to have a block colour cover like the one shown here. You can actually have an image on the cover so if you had a favourite picture from your day then it would be no problem to wrap that around the cover instead.
What some couples do is buy the Folio one for themselves and then the coffee table book for their Parents. Others buy the coffee table book for themselves also. Everyone is different and have different tastes. I just think it is nice that you have an option.
Oh yes, let’s not forget the mini ones you can get of your photo wall….
